How to Install Konica Minolta c224e Driver

Step 1: Right-click on the downloaded driver file: “BHC554ePCL6Winx64_5400EN_Windows-8-8.1-10-11-64bit.exe” file.

Step 2: It will create a folder which contains the basic INF driver file.

Step 3: Let’s start installing it manually. Click on “Start Menu” button and and then click on “Settings” and after that click on “Devices”.

Step 4: On the settings page, click on “Printer & Scanners” from the left side pane and then click on “Add a printer or scanner” from the right side.

Step 5: Click on the link “The printer that I want is not listed”

Step 6: The printer installation wizard will open up. Select the last option and click on the last option “Add a local printer” and then click on the Next button.

Step 7: Now choose the port of your printer, select USB001 and then click on Next.

Step 8: It will ask for the drivers – click on “Have Disk”.

Step 9: Click on the Browse button and go to the location where we have extracted the drivers file.

Step 10: In the extracted location, select the file named: “KOAYTJ__.INF” and then click on open.

Step 11: Click on OK.

Step 12: Select the printer model number “Konica Minolta C364 Series PCL” and then click on Next.
Note: Please don’t get confused if you have a C224e printer but are selecting the C364 driver for installation. All these printers: C454e, C364e, C284e, and C224e – belong to the same C series and use the same drivers. Therefore, the C554/C364 driver will also work with the C224e printer.

Step 13: Rename your printer and then click on Next.

Step 14: It is finally installing the drivers, so please wait.

Step 15: Click on the “Install” button. If you are installing this printer on Windows 8, 8.1, 10, 11 and you are not getting this window, it means your “Driver signature enforcement” option is enabled (it is enabled by default), then you will have to disable this option before installing the printer. Step 16: Choose the first option: “Do not share thsi printer” and then click on Next.

Step 17: The printer Konica Minolta Bizhub c224e has been installed. Click on finsih.

Step 18: Open up the printer’s page and check if the printer c224e should be there. If it there, it means the Bizhub c224e printer has bee installed successfully.
