I have managed to install the Canon driver on my laptop but I have clicked and downloaded IP2772 and I open to print something then it says my ink cartridge is not compatible with IP2700. I don’t understand I have installed IP2772 and it is saying IP2700 so do I need to fix the new cartridge or if I do change then is it really going to work? Please advise thanks
Don’t get confused with IP2700 and IP2772. Actually, the IP2772, IP2776, IP2778 printers are the derivative products of the IP2700 printer (main series printer). There are little differences between them, but their motherboards (cards) are the same. That’s why all its derivative printers use the main series drivers.
If you are talking about the ink cartridge problem, then I would suggest you restart your computer and your printer as well to make sure there is no glitch in that. If your ink cartridges are too old and about to empty, then you should go and replace them. But if your ink cartridges are new, then there is a problem with the printer detecting them. In this case, I would suggest you pull out the cartridges from the printer and set them back up the proper way.
