My laptop has been upgraded to Windows 10 and I am unable to link my Lexmark Impact S301. Are the new drivers available?
You can download the Windows 10 basic driver to install this printer on windows 10 machine. However, you have to install it manually using “add a printer” option.
I’m sorry to say but the full feature driver with the installer is not available for download for Lexmark Impact s301 printer. It isn’t even available on Lexmark’s official website. A full feature driver is not available, but it doesn’t mean that the Windows 10 operating system won’t use this printer.
You can use its basic driver to install it on Windows 10 manually. Another method is, maybe Windows 10 OS already has the drivers inbuilt in the operating system (OS no need drivers.) It will install drivers automatically once you connect your printer to the Windows 10 computer or you may have to update your Windows while plugging the printer into the computer.
You need to uninstall the old drivers and remove them from the computer manually. Then reboot your computer and after that plug the printer to the computer and do the Windows update. It will automatically get to the drivers automatically. Let us know if this doesn’t work.
