In order to install this printer properly on a computer, you need to follow the following steps carefully.
Step 1: Execute the driver file – double-click on the driver file (lexmark_pro200_wcr_64_en.exe) to execute the driver installer.
Step 2: Let it extract the driver files.
Step 3: Click on Install
Step 4: Click on “I Agree”
Step 5: Select the option: “Additional Computer”

Lexmark Prospect Pro209 is an multifunctional wireless printer. It will do all the jobs that are required in medium size offices. It has a 2.4inch display on the top which helps you to navigate the printer settings easily. It has an ADF (Auto document feeder) that has a 35 page holding capacity. This is a wireless printer with auto-duplex functionality.
If the ink cartridge of this printer is about to empty and you want to buy a new one then you will require its model number which is: Lexmark 100XL/100XLA – a high-yield ink cartridge. This printer uses inkjet technology. It is a bit old technology according to 2025 but if the printer is working fine till now then you should use it. You can print on upto A4 size papers.
The print, copy and scan speeds are also very decent, as it is an inkjet printer. It gives you very sharp and vibrant color prints if you use the best mode to print. It is a complete printer for medium size offices and for home use. But my suggestion is that you should take at least one print every three days. Otherwise, the ink nozzles may get blocked.
FAX is built-in with this machine but you will have to connect it to your phone line modem. I know it is very old but you can still use this functionality 2025. The noise level of this printer is around 50 dBA and it takes only 50 watts.
