CWC P211 Driver Download & Setup | Laser Printer

CWC P211 printer is a single function laser printer. There are 3 connectivity options in this printer, the LAN, Wi-Fi, and USB. To set up this printer on a computer, you will require its driver. Although the driver CD comes with the printer – inside the box, but if you don’t have it now, you can download it from the download section given below.

How to Install CWC P211 Printer Driver on a PC

Installing a printer correctly is as important as downloading the correct driver. If you download the wrong driver, it can cause driver conflicts. Similarly, if you do not install the driver properly, driver conflicts may also occur. Below I have given a step-by-step guide to install the driver. Please follow these steps.

Step 1: Unzip the driver file – Download the driver file from the above given download section and extract it into a folder.

Step 2: It will create a folder in the same location, open this folder.

Step 3: Close the folder – you’ll have 4 basic driver files. Leave it for now, and remember the location of this folder. We will use these driver files when the manual installation wizard will ask for the drivers.

Step 4: Let’s start installing the drivers. Click on the Start button and then click on settings.

Step 5: In settings, click on “Bluetooth & Devices” from the left side pane and then click on “Printers & Scanners” from the right side pane and then click on “Add Device” from the right side pane.

Step 6: Click on the “Add manually” link that appears within a few seconds.

Step 7: A manual installation wizard will open up. Choose the last option “add a local printer” and then click on next.

Step 8: Now choose the port USB001 and then click on Next. If your printer model number port listed here then prefer that.

Step 9: Click on Have Disk to select the drivers.

Step 10: Click on the browse button to browse for the driver.

Step 11: Now go the location where you have unzipped the driver file and select xrclcli_ppd.inf file and click on open.

Step 12: Click on OK then.

Step 13: Now select the driver “Xerox C230 Color Printer PS3” and click on Next – This is a compatible driver which will work with CWC P211 printer as well.

Step 14: Choose the option “Replace the current driver” and then click on Next.

Step 15: You may rename your printer to CWC P211 and then click on Next.

Step 16: Select the option “Do not share this printer” and then click on Next.

Step 17: Congratulations, the printer CWC P211 has been installed successfully.

Step 18: Go to the printers page and check your printer presence. Select the printer and print a test page.
