I just upgraded to windows 10 on a laptop that i had neverprinted from.
I have a brother dcp-j140w that I use with my desktop computers and want to be able to use laptop.
The printer shows in the list, but it says the driver is not available.

I had for many years Windows XP Professional and now, since two months, am working with Windows 7, 64 bites. Now the connection with this printer is no more smoothly working, it takes always a lot of time till the information passes and the printer starts to work. Everything is updated and all the drivers on place, I also tried to solve the problem by disinstalling and re-installing the printer, but just nothing works, the problem is still the same. Can you help me please??? Would be great…

We recommend you to please uninstall the printer driver from control panel then remove all the traces of this printer from registry. Then install the printer driver again.
