TVS MSP 450 Star Driver Download (Dot Matrix Printer)

The “TVS MSP 450 Star” is a dot matrix printer. There are three options to connect this printer to a computer. To connect it using any of these options, you will need to install its drivers on your computer. I have provided the drivers below. You can download them from the download section.

How to Install TVS MSP 450 Printer Driver

To properly install this printer on your computer, you need to follow the following step-by-step instructions.

Step 1: Unzip the driver file – Right-click on the downloaded driver file and click on Extract to.

Step 2: It will create a folder which contains all the driver files, open up this folder.

Step 3: In that folder, open up folder which matches the version of your operating system. If you have Windows 10 64bit, then please open up the folder “Windows-10-64bit”.

Step 4: Here, double-click on the file: “Setup – MSP 450 STAR.exe”

Step 5: Now the installer is preparing to start the installation wizard, so please wait.

Step 6: Now, the model number of your printer will be selected automatically, you just need to click on OK.

Step 7: Click on the manual button to select printer port.

Step 8: Here, select the port where your printer is connected right now. I recommend you to select USB001 and click on OK.

Step 9: Finally, the installer is preparing to install the printer driver.

Step 10: Congratulations, the printer TVS MSP 450 star has been installed successfully.

Step 11: Go to the printer’s page and check whether the printer is installed or not. As you can see, the printer has been successfully installed with the name of TVS MSP 450 Star

This is a professional printer. Users mostly use it in banks and shops to print invoices, reports, and statements. It prints very fast at 360 characters per second, which is much faster than other dot matrix printers. This 450 star printer from TVS is durable and gives high-quality prints.

This printer uses a link ribbon as ink. To keep the printer working well, you need to change the ribbon cassette when the ink runs out. The ribbon can print up to 40 million characters per ribbon. The printer’s print-head has 24 pins – wires. It can print 80 columns on a page. The printing speed is around 300 characters per second. You can change the font size from 8 points to 40 points, depending on your need. The printer offers many different fonts that you can choose from.

It uses paper sizes from 3.5 inches to 10 inches. It supports paper thickness up to 0.3 mm. The size of the printer is 433 mm width, 147 mm depth and 379mm hight. The total weight of the printer is 5.7 kilograms. All these details make it a durable and high-quality dot matrix printer suitable for professional use.

This printer has two ways to connect to your computer. One is a parallel port and the other is a USB port. You can install the printer on your computer using its driver software. It supports Windows 95 to Windows 11. If the driver does not install on a latest operating system, then you can use its basic driver instead, which should work on that.
