Q: I had a Brother HL-5370DW running fine with Monterey. Then it stopped, and tech support can not help me. I had re-added the driver. I deleted again, and, while it shows up with Bonjour, it says software not available. Any advice?
A: Its Mac 12.x Monterey driver is not available yet, so you will have to use its previous version driver, it should work. Have you tried to re-install it manually, if not, then try installing it manually. But before that, I would like to suggest that you update its firmware first. Here's the firmware download link.
I don’t use a router, but I could use the cable I use to connect from the Mac to the router for internet service to try. That update is pretty old, and Brother is clear that they do not support this printer.
