Solution:
You can install this driver in a different way.
In order to install the driver, you have to use windows XP / windows vista basic driver on this windows professional 2000 machine. It will work but you have to do it manually.
- Download Windows XP driver and then run it on windows professional 2000 machine, let it be extracted to %temp% folder (This location could be different).
- Now click on "add a printer" option from printers page and give the driver path where this driver is extracted.
