I would suggest to try connecting your scanner to another USB port on your computer.
Is it not detecting in “Device Manager” as well? Please check and let me know.
To check for detection, open the “device manager” in front of you, and then disconnect the scanner and reconnect it, and look at the device manager, if some activity happens while connecting and disconnecting, it means your scanner is detecting the device manager otherwise not. Make sure your scanner is powered ON properly.
All the installed scanners go to “imaging device” in “device manager” or if it doesn’t install properly then it must go to “other devices” in “device manager”.
